offer first for what? all 5 of them? lol
this is classic move to load up for next year....not sure its a smart move if he is in 3rd place but it appears that is what he is doing...
i doubt you can get any of these guys for less than 1st.
I'm currently in 1st place, with a 1 game lead on 2nd, and 3 game lead on 3rd, with 8 weeks to go in our regular season.
For some reason, the 3rd place team has just put the following players on the trade block:
- Centers: Aho, Point, Hintz
- LW/RW: Bratt
- D: Luke Hughes
He's looking mainly for draft picks, and/or D. Since I'm looking to make a run at the title, I don't think it makes sense to move any of my D. However, I'm wondering if I should dangle a high pick and try for Aho + Hughes? Aho helps me a bunch at Center, Hughes would become my prospect keeper, and I'd move Perfetti onto my active roster.
I always hate trading draft picks. But maybe this is the year to do it. For reference a 1st round pick in our last draft got you guys like Eichel, Bedard (and the rest of the top 3 rookies), DeBrincat, Keller, Jarry.
If I offer a 1st, is that too much?
(Update - my question was my 1st for Aho + L Hughes, is that too much?)

I don't think you do this... the trade will cost more than the first because you also lose a keeper and a prospect keeper if you can keep Perfetti in that slot - so really its a cost of your first and 2 current keepers. I mean, I'd consider trading the pick for a championship though if you think Aho puts you over the edge to guarantee that - just know that it will obviously impact your next year draft. Also, its fantasy, so depends on how badly you want little hughes and aho on you roster which may change my math if I were you Championship + players you like is a nice have but not helping for compete next season
If you think your team will be stronger go for it, don’t be too worried about next year! Championships are forever, this is fantasy hockey it’s all in fun, and winning is more fun then having a draft pick
