All Star Omission
Yeah I know that the all-star “event” is largely meaningless, but Mikko Rantanen deserves the honor, instead of the weekend off. Ballot-stuffers (being kind now, “voting encouragement”) from Vancouver and Toronto overwhelmed the fan vote. I’ve always thought that the PLAYERS should vote in those last spots. But hopefully Rantanen gets to go as an injury replacement, and wins the MVP.

I would see it more as a sign of respect if the league/players/fans gave me the weekend off
