Bedard for Toffoli? (will rrrrep)

I have Werenski, Theodore and Bedard injured right now. Werenski might come back by month's end, Theodore mid February (“might”, update just released), and then Bedard mid February to early March. For context, I’m in 7th place of 12 (8 for playoffs), but the teams beneath me all have their own messes to contend with. Not smooth sailing by any means, but also not nightmare fuel. Playoffs start March 25.

I’m just wondering if I should stay the course and hold Bedard with my other two injuries and whatever else is to come, or trade for Toffoli and hope he has a bit of a resurgence when Hughes comes back (and avoid Bedard’s +/- hell).

Just the 1 IR spot? And how many men do start?
Without more info I would still recommend to stay put. You should get more than Toffoli for Bedard. For instance in my pool we have similar stats and Bedard was averaging 1.7 pts per game and Toffoli is just behind at 1.55 pts per game...obviously my stat weights may be diff

I think it's probably a reasonable deal. I'd prefer to aim a little higher but it's not awful. If you think you can weather the storm until Bedard comes back however I'd rather have him in the playoffs than Toffoli. You'll get a guy with fresh legs, eager to finish strong, playing against a lot of backup goalies and teams not trying, vs. a guy that is almost 32, wearing down, and in a bunch of tight playoff race type games.

Thank you everyone, I decided to not do it and just hope for the best instead. I don’t think Toffoli will help me much more than a dead roster spot. Rep given where able (sorry LuigiC, wasn’t allowed to rep you again just yet but I appreciate your input nonetheless).
