    In the absence of any other information - I think the side getting Lecavalier wins - the Big Train is rolling and don\'t see that stopping anytime soon.

    Giggie is very good and Havlat has tons of talent, but a hospital tied to his butt. I would want Lecavalier here without much question - unless my goaltenders were Aubin, Auld and Toivenen with no hope of upgrading otherwise.

    Keep 10 Players from a ~20 man roster each year. It is prior to the drop date. Generally people will protect their starting lineup (6F 3D 1G). No Salary cap.

    Team A Goalies: Raycroft, Khabibulin, Legace

    Team B Forwards: Iginla, Kovalchuk, Zetterberg, Cheechoo, Havlat, Semin

    Team B Goalies: M.A. Fluery, J.S. Giguere, Vesa Toskala
    12 Team H2H - Keep 8+2 NHL Rookies

    Definitely the Lecav side wins - keep him and the Wall over having Giggie and Havlat any day. Legace is an asset worth considering this year as well.

    Not enough value in this trade to move Lecavalier imo.

    i like the lecav side... the goal tending stats don\'t seem to be anywhere near as beneficial as the scoring stats... you only get 2 points for wins and 3 for shutouts... Gigure will get maybe 80-90 points with this scoring, lecav will get at least 100 fantasy points.

    havlat is an injury prone baby too and his roster spot can probably be used better on someone else anyways, so take the deal.

    So based on your scoring formulas, here is a quick run-down on the points for players in question based on the projections of a pretty decent forecasting system for this year.

    Lecavalier = 102 points (not including GWG or SHG)
    Havlat = 75 points (not including GWG or SHG)
    Giguere = 81 points
    Khabibulin = 75 points
    Legace = 102 points

    How does Team A stand to gain?

    I\'m not disagreeing with using that pool guide however after you average out 5 guides, it works out how I stated above. Personally I prefer to average out 5 guides rather then just use the one you have quoted.

    That\'s just what I do however.

    Hey Stannic

    Okay - guess the numbers for Havlat and Giggie are pretty high in other guides.

    I still could not be convinced to move Lecavalier.

    This would make for an interesting bookmark to come back to later in the year. My interest is piqued on how this will play out.

    Good luck with this.

    Well I just realized that I had screwed up a little on my spread sheet and divided Legace, Khabibulin and Raycroft\'s stats by 5 instead of four (as they are only predicted in 4 guides) :blush:

    This is making more sense now.

    And you\'re all right. It would not make sense to trade Lecavalier for Havlat and Giguere. Unless, that is, there is more compensation.

    This is only the second year I\'ve done the five guides. Last year I did very well for myself, but that might just be luck...I dunno. I never did go over and see how the stats were compared to actual stats as I have since erased the data (to use for this year...cause it would make more sense to save a copy of it...yeah I know...blond moment) :blush:

    I could post some numbers but I personally would not take any credit for these...as they are just the average of the five guides.
