I’m rebuilding I trade hedman, ovechkin
I get 2024 1st rounder (prob pick 16) can defer pick to 2026
I get 2025 1st round pick (prob pick 14-16)
I get tanner molendyk
Thoughts?

What's the rest of your roster like? I'm not high on Molendy and see him as a more risk than reward type player
Does the OGM have any other prospects with potential?
They're buying low on Ovechkin and you might be able to get something more certain than two lottery tickets with Hedman. They're not top picks so you're not getting much other than trade collateral when the rosters are 30 deep.
Certainly shop those two around and see if you can get better offers.

i think its underwhelming offer...age is a factor but both are still pretty good...i think you need A to A- prospect and first rounder for each of them. At very least he needs to add an A prospect at forward to this deal...ideally that + swap Molendyk for better prospect.

I don' t think it's enough. The two picks aren't bad but would want more than that just for Hedman.
