The joys of fantasy hockey
I'm in a deep H2H league where my team has been up and down all season, but struggling more lately and currently sitting outside a playoff spot. It's really competitive so every category win is important.
I own both Adin Hill and Logan Thompson.
As of yesterday, Hill was on injured reserve, but was rumoured to be close to returning as there was speculation he was starting on Wednesday. That didn't happen, but thought he may be available last night so kept him active even though he still had IR designation. Thompson was in my IR+ slot as he was DTD with an illness, but hadn't seen any updates on when he could return.
I had UPL in my other starting slot so I had to decide before going to bed last night whether to keep Hill active, or to swap with Thompson.
I kept Hill in.
I woke up this morning to find out that Thompson returned, started and won saving 32/33 shots.
My matchup currently stands at 7-5 for my opponent (who is in a worse position, by the way). If I had started Thompson, I would be winning 7-4.
Still plenty of time, but this sums up my season so far.

I have aprox 5th most FP's but most FP's scored against me in a 24 team league which has me at 2-11 .
sad thing is the league has a record book for a variety of stats and I'm in it for most FP's scored against in a season for my teams 2022-2023 performance .
I could possibly break my own record again lol
