Saros vs. Skinner?
This is for a 1 year 12 team H2H league that counts W, GAA, SV%, SO.
I've been offered Saros and Markstrom for my Skinner and Daws.
My other goalie is Carter Hart.
Early in the season I would have jumped on this. I know Saros is the more talented goalie but Edmonton is a really good team right now and they have a great playoff schedule.
My team is competitive (4th right now).
Should I accept?

Hmm. I think I still accept this, even in a 1 year.
You're receiving two horses in Saros and Markstrom who, while on weaker teams than the players you're trading away, should have the secure workload. I'm not fully confident that either Skinner or Daws keeps the lion's share of the work on their respective team's the rest of the season.

I agree with Rick, I like the "Get" a little better. Maybe 55-45 better. The thing is, I don't believe that Daws will be in the NHL for long, Akira will probably be back at some point. And what if then one between Skinner and Hart go down with an injury, are there good options on the waiver wire? Or just names like Forsberg and Kahkonen?

Top owned goalies in FA are Binnington, Kuemper, Gibson, Korpisalo, Vejmelka. My league doesn't really value volume goalies with bad averages

Those names don't sound very good
Binner has the occasional good game, but otherwise, if bad averages will kill you, I don't like those options. Kuemper can be okay but too injury-prone, Gibson started well but has been trending down since.
Of course you can be the one who finds this year's Hamburglar (Martin Jones?), but that's a crapshoot.

That's an easy accept for me. Skinner might get slightly more Wins than Saros but Markstrom has been the best goalie for averages of the three. See comparison:
Markstrom - 11 W, 2.68 GAA, 0.908 SV%, 62.5 QS%
Saros - 16 W, 3.09 GAA. 0.899 SV%, 50 QS%
Skinner - 17 W, 2.69 GAA, 0.901 SV%, 57.1 QS%
If we assume Daws will be sent back down again (I'd bet 99% of everything he will) and that Saros plays closer to his 0.915 SV% the rest of the season (fair bet he's very consistent in the goalie world) then this is an absolute steal.
