I am a big Daniel Craig fan so I am biased also haven't watched all the real old bonds but I like. Casino Royale #1, followed by Skyfall, No time to die and Goldeneye. #5 don't have a strong preference.

    Goldfinger at the top

    In no order

    The Spy Who Loved Me
    From Russia with Love
    Goldeneye

and with #5 I'll say You Only Live Twice, possibly because it's my favourite Bond theme and Connery's Japanese disguise is so dumb it's fun

To me, Bond is Connery or Moore, period.

    1) Live and Let Die
    2) The Man with the Golden Gun
    3) Diamonds Are Forever
    4) You Only Live Twice
    5) The Spy Who Loved Me

I have specific tastes when it comes to Bond films and generally find most of the franchise not as entertaining as hyped. I think most people really appreciate the campiness and absurdity of Bond, but I've always appreciated the darker more serious ones. That leaves my five:

    Casino Royale
    The Living Daylights
    Skyfall
    License to Kill
    No Time to Die

    *

Daniel Craig is for me the best Bond, but his films have been hit and miss. The three above hit, with Casino Royale EASILY the best of the franchise. I am also partial to the Timothy Dalton films, of which there were only two but are far more serious/thrilling than some of the sexcapade silliness you see from Roger Moore. And let's face it a lot of these films are going to have a hard time holding up simply because of how dated they are.

Goldfinger was brilliant. The recent Casino Royale was really good, with the exception of the horrible Poker play...
