Trade Kochetkov for Askarov
Hi all, would you trade Kochetkov for Askarov and if i can grab Beniers at the same time. The other GM is maybe going out of patience with askarov so i would offer Kochetkov for is Askarov and try to grab Beniers at the same time. Would you try to do that or keep Kochetkov?

I'd rather have Askarov and Beniers together than Kotchetkov. One for one, Askarov is probably going to have the better career, although that's a wild guess for anyone. Kochetkov is much closer to relevance than Askarov is, which may be useful for your negotiations. And, the Predators figure to be a middling to bad team when Askarov gets the reins, with Josi near the end and Forsberg on the wrong side of the aging curve with seemingly no difference makers at forward or defense in the prospect pipeline.

I agree that Koch and Askarov are a coin flip long term but I’d personally rather have Koch just because of the team he is on and less competition in front of him to be the full time starter. But if he is willing to give you Beniers and Askarov for Koch I would do that. But probably unlikely he does that.

I prefer Askarov long term. I think he has the better pedigree and the better skill for long term success.
Sure Caorlina is the better team now... but a lot can change in a short period of time.

Beniers is the best player being discussed here. If you can get him take it. I prefer Askarov to Kochetkov but it’s a coin flip. I just personally like Askarov
