HELP!!! Vlookup issues in spreadsheet!

I need some spreadsheet help.

1 ) I set up an entry form with all the players for the World Juniors.

2) participants use this entry form to select their teams by using the drop down options on the entry form.

3) In a separate spreadsheet, I copied all the names from the entry form spreadsheet into the standings spreadsheet.

4) When I receive entries and enter them into the standings spreadsheet, the vlookup does not recognize the names from the entry form....


Please help!!!!

I would just look up vlookup between spreadsheets.

If I weren't off work I'd be able to help more. Sorry

Be easier to be able to see the spreadsheet... It could be as something simple as an extra space in the name.

Okay think I found the spreadsheet... now to see what you are asking.

Your standings is using HLookUp though not VLookup.

On Entries tab line 30 the ranks are still N/A for some of them. If the formula only looks at the first 3 you have point totals for you will get a rank and the rest should work out.
