Default McTavish+ vs 2nd overall (rep)

Last place in this league gets 1st overall (Celebrini, no lottery).

I'm one of 2 teams in a full-on rebuild but I think the other guy has a clear path to shedding pts and getting Celebrini. Debating offering him my pick and ending the race to the basement if I can "win" the trade so the other guy can have the peace of mind knowing I won't be trying to get below him in the standings.

How do you guys like McTavish vs Eiserman/Demidov?

Pts only dynasty (team in sig).

    Thanks in advance.

Anytime you can trade a chance at a quality player for a guarantee you should take it. Your roster is already a "who's who" of blue chip prospects you don't need more picks. At some point you have to consider trying to convert some more of those maybes into definites.

I'd prefer McTavish. He's been playing well and Anaheim has some good talent there. You have no idea where Eiserman will end up or how long he'll take to produce.
    Team 1:
J Hughes, Cooley (r), Bratt, Laine, M Tkachuk, Necas, A Svechnikov, S Jarvis, M Michkov (r), W Johnston, Zegras, Giroux, Norris, Couturier, B Jenner, T Krug, Burns, M Weegar, Werenski, Sergachev, B Clarke (r), Theodore, Sorokin , Oettinger, Askarov (r), Ersson
    12 teams, No salary cap
Keep 14 plus 4 rookies (under 150 GP) max 18 players
    Scoring: G (1), A (1), +/- (0.25), H (0.1), B(0.1), PIM (0.1), SOG (0.1), GWG (1), PPP (1), SHP (1),
    Goalies: W (2), SO (3), GA (-0.5), OTL (1), SV (0.1)

    Thanks.
I agree I need to start turning my assets into young NHL talent.
Might see if Eiserman's value spikes during the WJC and go for it then.

    I like the idea.

You might be able to get something else out of him, since he will also have the knowledge that he doesn't need to dump talent to get to the absolute bottom of the standings. maybe a later pick.

I think you go with McTavish. He's gonna be real good and ANA will be a good team before too long. I think in a points-only league he will be top notch.
