Do you stay patient with Montour?

I tend to give a lot of leash to star players, as numbers usually normalize over time.

However, Montour has been brutal since he came back from injury. Obviously, it takes time to recover from major surgery like he had. The minutes and the PP deployment have been there. Less shots per game though and almost nothing to show for his efforts.

Any other GMs here have seen him play and could assess if there is an issue with his game? Do you plan to stay patient much longer?

I'd hold. Frustrating for sure but it happens with defencemen, especially ones coming back from injury as you said.
