Nylander but after this season Kaprizov by a wide margin
Who puts up more points rest of season?

I think it will be close but I'd give the edge to Kaprizov

I see no reason to believe that. It's not like Minnesota has any blue chip prospects coming up that are going to help his game. Rossi is already there and looking more like a 2-way middle 6 guy, Khusnitdinov is probably a winger, Heidt, Ohgren, Yurov and Stramel are probably a couple years out at minimum. On top of that they still have another year of buyout hell to contend with. Kaprizov is a great player but Minnesota's brand of hockey is not conducive to him ever reaching his ceiling. He does well despite the team, not because of it. Nylander does well despite competing for minutes in a loaded top 6, I'll take Nylander ever day of the week and maybe profit from him leaving Toronto and going to a team that can afford to give him a guaranteed top line role.
Even if you really like Kaprizov, the idea that there's a "wide margin" is quite the stretch.

I think it will be somewhat close. It really depends on where Nylander ends up and what his compete level is once he has cashed in.
That said, I would much prefer Kaprizov.

I mean here's the "wide margin" you can see for yourself. Even over the last 3 seasons when he wasn't "looking for a paycheque" they're about as even as it gets across the board.

Unfortunately I can’t see the stats on the mobile version but I will point out that Kaprizov has less GP, this year is/will be a huge outlier season like it is for literally every player during there contract year and Kaprizov in real life atleast is the far better player
I do prefer Nylander this year, but for the future it is really difficult to indicate what is going to happen. For Kaprizov will others step up in Minnesota to help him? For Nylander what situation will he be playing in for the future. If that is the Leafs, he has the players around him to support him. Both of these players are top players, but who will be better in the future in my opinion is going to be determined by the surroundings the player has around them that can support them. Right now that is Nylander.
