Is Max Pacioretti worth throwing in the IR slot?

Meaning, will he be a useful asset this season? I have no one currently on IR, so I dont mind stashing him but I also dont want to not have the IR available for future injuries if Max is most likely gonna be a bench guy when he returns anyway.

If he has a shot to be what he was before the Achilles injuries then the stash could be well worth it

basically stash with it empty and then if an important player goes down drop him to clear the IR space. He is 34 and has torn his Achilles twice, I'm not holding out hope for prolific scoring.

This is pretty much all you can do. The odds are strongly against him being a big contributor in a 10 or 12 team league. I'd hold him in IR until someone good gets placed on IR.
