I'd assume Kane will be paired with DeBrincat at one point. Which would have Rasmussen demoted off the DeBrincat-Compher-Rasmussen line.

Agreed about the lines. I could see Kane replacing Raymond on PP1 though. As a Raymond owner, better 5 on 5 production doesn't overcome going to PP2 if that is the case.

"some hurdles" are still needed to jump to get Kane technically signed. But he's signed the contract so it's just processing time.

Also, Larkin is apparently out Wednesday and likely Thursday. Might adjust how quickly Kane gets tossed in.

$2.75m AAV, NTC, all base salary. Cap hit is the full $2.75m, He'll be paid ~$2,079,268.

Sounds like he'll get into the lineup next week.

Kane is going to be a net negative for Detroit IMO. He's not going to preform to the role he's given and he's going to take minutes away from a better player (just like NYR last year).
