Lyon has been stealing starts and playing really well. Kinda wondering if he’s taken the #1 spot. I don’t really feel like holding on to both goalies. Should I keep Husso, or keep Lyon?

Lyon is stealing starts, but it's a bit from Husso & a bit from Reimer. He's played well enough to stay up in the NHL, and to get claimed if he gets sent down.

i would not be dropping Husso...i would prefer to keep both but if you need to drop Lyon. However, in short terms he could get most starts in Detriot.

Lyon is on a tear and earned more starts. I wonder if Detroit does something to lose Reimer and go with Husso/Lyon as 1a/1b tandem.

got to be really careful to trust goalie who could not get consistent NHL gig over 6 year this quick...its been 4 games. I think they carry 3 for a while and give Lyon good test before they make the deal.Originally Posted by VincentVega

If you decide to move on from one, up that will be the tender you regret letting go. I’d keep them both for now (i own both and just acquired Husso). If my hand is forced, I’m keeping Husso.

Lyon is having a good run but Husso's the goalie you want to own in Detroit .
maybe Yzerman can flip the red hot Lyon to team XYZ for a mid round pick knowing he has the stability of Husso-Reimer-Cossa
