Nichushkin v Ovy
I have been offered Ovy for Nichushkin in a one yr league (standard roto yahoo)? I really believe in Valeri and am worried that Ovy is old and done, and I can't drop him if I need to.
Should I accept the deal? Is it a no brainer or is ovy just a shadow of his former glory?

Smash the accept button. Nich isn't even a proven commodity himself. If Ovi's shooting percentage normalizes he has another 2 goals on the season and he's suddenly 14 points in 16 games and it doesn't look as bad.

I'm keeping Nichushkin. He's been playing at a .85ppg pace for his third year in a row. This year's he's actually at a ppg pace. He hits and shoots, maybe a little less than Ovechkin, but I feel he'll be more productive.

Ovechkin for me. If he doesn't meet expectations, you're more likely to be able to trade him on name value alone.

Nichuskin had also ceded a decent amount of ice time to Lehkonen. When the latter returns from injury they might go back to that. Ovechkin’s ice time is secure.
