Patrick Kane to decide landing spot this week?
Both Frank Seravalli and Chris Johnston today saying they think Kane is going to decide where he's going some time this week. Dreger said it could drag into next week.
Lots of teams out there have been linked to Kane, including the Panthers, Sabres, Hurricanes, Red Wings, Stars, Rangers, Lightning, Leafs and probably some others I'm forgetting. It sounds like right now the Panthers might be the frontrunner, not Buffalo, but that could obviously change.

I kinda hope he signs with the Lightning or the Leafs. Hard to say how he will look after surgery. ~60 games my guess would be 30-50 points.
But my guess is as good as any. I wouldn't be surprised if he got less than 30, but wouldn't be surprised if he got 70. So much unknown with how his body will respond.

Hopefully, he will now avoid Buffalo. Personally, I am hoping for Florida or New York.

Looking at the teams RW's, the rankings I would have would be:
Buffalo (Tuch, Benson, Olofsson, Okposo)
Red Wings (Raymond, Rasmussen, Perron, Sprong)

Rangers (Wheeler, Lafreniere, Kakko, Pitlick)

Leafs have 0 need to him. Looking at Buffalo and how Tuch has played Kane looks perfect for the team. With Tampa he slots really quickly into RW2 on a line with Stamkos and Paul.
Who I want him to be on? Leafs would be fun with Matthews, I just don't see how he fits.

Still think this will be a total non event given the nature of the surgery. I don’t think he’s going to make much of a difference.
