    Default Elias Lindholm

League settings are G, A, PIM, PPP, SOG, HIT.

Looking to get some more starts for the week and I'm not super sold on Lindholm overall, so looking at other options. Not much has come up trade wise at this point. Was looking to grab Nichushkin, W Johnston, Monahan, Norris, or Jarvis instead.

Other forwards include M Tkachuk, Keller, Hintz, Kotkaniemi, Moore, Bratt and Zucc. (Different league in sig)

    Should I hold?

I think Lindholm is going to have a very difficult season.
Two years ago, this time, people were talking him up as an $8m guy... with Tkachuk & Gaudreau popping in an NHL-all-time +/- line 1 year.

But... since then... with no extension... the pressure is setting in.
Elias Lindholm both needs to produce offensively (for the $$$) and provide good two-way center play (for the $$$) and he can't seem to find the balance.
And he's surely a bit nervous about his future - and that can affect a guy's play.

I probably prefer Norris over Lindholm... if Norris is getting PP1 time and clicking with OTT.
Nichushkin possibly too... if he seems to be PP1 and clicking.

Wyatt Johnson is a good player... but seems buried in a 3-line-deep DAL system.
Monahan has played well... but I just don't see it being an all-year thing.

Personally - there's nothing wrong with dropping your weakest forward and streaming for schedule.

I agree. The only thing Lindholm is doing well for fantasy right now is Faceoff Wins and that’s not a category your league tracks so I wouldn’t hesitate to drop him for anyone who is performing better at the moment.

I would hold Lindholm. He's a talented player in top deployment (we'll see what happens if he's traded). With those options, I'd wait it out or seek a trade. But now is not a good time to trade him - he will get hot, at which point you will have the tough call of 'selling high' or deciding to hold him with the hope he keeps it up to some extent.

Lindholm is playing for a UFA deal and, if reports are to be believed, might be moved by Calgary. I think he is primed to have a strong second half and would hold if possible.

I would love to see him in Boston, but yes, I agree, hold on to him.
