What are your thoughts on him this season and the next couple. Is he a player I should be looking to move? I'm worried about him declining and just staying healthy in general. If I can move him for someone like Panarin, should I? I have a gm in the league who is interested in such a trade, other minor pieces may be involved.

The Capitals are, as someone else observed, not a real hockey team anymore, but just a means to support Ovechkin's pursuit of the goals record, after which there will be a complete collapse. The whole team is slowly circling the drain, and if Ovechkin's performance falls off, everything falls apart. Carlson's value rests in large part on Ovechkin's ability to keep scoring. In your league where +/- is a category, Carlson is likely to be an anchor.

If you can turn him into Panarin now at a small cost plus Carlson, you need to do that. But Panarin's big start probably makes that difficult. But do it if you can.

yeah that will be a tough sell

but i dont buy the notion that there is nothing left in washington...they had horrible start and been much better since. I seen some of there games and they not that bad...playoff team? probably not but i think for fantasy purpose there is still some skill there..
