He was bought out in my dynasty league and I was thinking of using my open spot to take a chance on him. I’ve noticed he’s only on 2pts for the year to this point, but on the top line with Keller and Schmaltz and on PP1 as well. He’ll cost very minimal to my salary cap as well. Just curious in knowing from others if he’s just snake bitten or this is his genuine form? League format for skaters is below. Thanks

I think he’s worth taking a chance on, he will improve at some point and the fact you don’t have to drop anyone makes it a easier decision

I would grab him. He's still getting good deployment and will get the monkey off his back. Started slow last year as well and finished strong.

Does a bit of everything as well which makes him all that much more interesting a gamble since you don't have to drop anyone

I agree with everyone else. He's well rounded, cheap and has upside with good deployment. Exactly the kind of guy you take a chance on.

yeah he is a bit of ?? why production been so bad..his shot rate is decent, he is still on top line, he is noticeable out there but does not produce points. I think this will change.

Thank you all! Adds take place at 11am on Mondays and Fridays in my league (2 matchups per week, Mon-Thurs and Fri-Sun) so I scooped him up at our league minimum for 5 years. It won’t hurt me at all if I have to buy him out during that time so it was worth that as well. Thanks for the input, let’s see where this goes!
