Roy's been one of the best not-in-the-NHL guys this year and Zuccarello, although not currently with Kaprizov, has been linked with him steadily for a while. Hayton isn't enough to merit those two good assets.

Hard to say. Hayton is cheap this year but due for a new contract this offseason.

I'm in on trying to acquire Hayton right now... but that's not really a "discount" price to pay imo.
I have zero issue moving on from Zucc and rolling the dice that J.Roy peaks as a middle-six guy... but I'd like a higher-end piece than Hayton for that price.
If the OGM can add a piece of significance (future or otherwise) to this deal, I'd be interested for sure.

It's "ok"... again I like the concept here, just think that you need more value back to 'optimize' the value of the guys you're dealing. Right now - even with R.Lavoie - feels like you're assuming ALL the risk... without much of a discount
That said - YOU know YOUR league. If that's the max you feel you can get for Zucc/J.Roy then I'm personally fine with it. Zucc may be super tough to move in the near future for anything worthwhile, so I'm fine with jumping a little early on that (assuming you're not competing this year).
In a league your size, I do think Hayton will be a very solid piece moving forward.
