    Default Brassard for Turris

I am currently in 5th place in my 20 team league but doubt i can go for first but can challenge in 2 years. so my question is long-term who is better. i can keep 11 players each year.

    I\'d probably protect:

    Brassard
    Little
    Morrow
    Eriksson
    Hemsky
    Horton
    Boyle
    Barker
    Fleury
    Giguere

I\'d probably take EJ as my 11th pick as stud D are hard to find and I don\'t see much left over on RW/LW. Cs are just too easy to find.

    That\'s a tough one!

I\'m not a pro at this and don\'t pretend to be, but here\'s what I think...

First: they both have great (and I mean GREAT) potential!

Brassard is already leading his team and he will be for the next few years, Umberger being the first center at Columbus, it won\'t be long \'til Brassard gets the first line center spot! Centering Nash and (eventually) Filatov, expect Brassard to become a monster!

Turris has at least as much talent but he\'s got Jokinen in front of him so he could (I said could... only Wayne knows!) stick to the second line for a while, he\'ll be playing with Boedker and Rienprecht (?) which is not that bad but not that good either!

IMHO, I like Brassard to be ahead for the next few years!
    15 Teams Keeper League
    25 Players Roster (12F, 6D, 2G, 5B )
    Keep 9 (5F, 2D, 1G + 1 skater) + 2 Rookies (F&D=100 GP, G=70GP)
    F&D = Points Only, G = Win 2, SO 1

F: Crosby*, Tavares*, Ovechkin*, Atkinson*, R.Strome*, Dvorak(R), Domi, Hishier, Hornqvist, Kapanen, Vesey, Caggiula.
D: Hedman*, Ju.Schultz*, Savard, Trouba, Morrow, Walman
    G: Talbot*, Saros.
    B: Kovalchuk, Yakupov, Steel.
    * = Keepers from last year.
    (R)= Rookies from last year.

A month ago most would have said Turris.

Personally I would go with Brassard, but would look to keep Turris over someone else on your roster as well.

    Cheers.

I agree with Molson X, I love Brass, but Turris is definitely worth protecting over some of the other guys you have. I think with Jokinen and Doan playing in Phoenix for a long time to come, Turris is worth taking and hanging onto.

Most people here know I am very very high on Brass and when he starts to play with Nash, i think he will be a 80-90 point player. Right now he is on pace for 70...don\'t know if he will get there, but he is, and that would be fantastic for a rookie. So hold onto both of them.
Head to Head League: 1 point for G, 1 point for A. 2 for Goalie win, 3 for SO.
Start 6 guys every week. 3 O, 2 D and 1G. No substitutions once they are in (before the first game starts on Monday).
Protect 3 players every year in keeper.
    10 rounds of drafting
F: Crosby, Point, P. Kane, JVR, Kopitar, Rakell, Tarasenko,
D: Letang, Doughty, Karlsson, Grzelcyk, Faulk,
    G: Bob, Shesterkin, Demko, Kahkonen
