Aquire Ovi

Given the perceived value of Ovi right now, I'm thinking of tryin to aquire him.

Since he's straight LW and I have 2 already, best bet (to avoid scheduling conflicts) would be to trade Forsberg.
He's had a hot start, so the trade seems reasonable.

Any reason to not do this?

I would make that deal.
Ovy may finally, finally, finally, be slowing down but I still think he is good for 30+ goals this season and has all his peripherals.
Looking at Ovy's stats he has 2 G on 47 shots shooting 4.7% (career average is 12.9%) so if you correct to his average he should have 5-6 goals in 10 games which is on pace for 40 goal season.
Even if his S% dips it will improve from 4.7% going forward.

Forsberg is the opposite. hot start (although poor shooting %) but does not have the peripherals Ovy does.
This seems like a classic sell-high/buyl-low trade. I would try and make it. As an Ovy owner I would not agree to this deal.

I think I would take the chance on this trade.

As mentioned above, it is a good sell high - buy low option.

And lets not forget, Forsberg is likely to miss 10 games this season with an injury and will not be as good when he comes back after the injury.

If I could guaranteed Forsberg would stay healthy than this might be a lateral move at best but he hasn't earned that throughout his career so upgrading to Ovi is a good deal if it can be done.
