    Default Intriguing Waiver Options

There are a few interesting names available on waivers that I'd love some feedback on. I'm probably only looking at tinkering with backups at a few positions, but since we actually pay a fee for each claim, curious to get feedback on whether folks think these are worth making a change. Current roster and league format in signature.

Maccelli (LW) - would likely drop Lafreniere as a backup LW swap
    Perfetti (LW) - same
    Nick Paul (LW) - same
Mercer (RW) - trickier drop in this case, but I guess Jeannot (my only real PIM guy)

Any one or two of these make sense for ROS?
    Redraft 12-team Roto with 1 waiver/day ($5), start 3 at each F position, 5 D, 1 rookie, 2 Goalies, 5 Reserves
Player Cats = G,A,Pts,PIMs,+/- (PIMs worth 50%, and +/- worth 25% compared to the other player cats)
Goalie Cats (worth half what player cats are) = W,GAA,S%,SO (SO worth 25% of what player cats are)
    C: Tavares,Thomas,Johnston,Lindholm(Res),Zacha(Res)
    LW: Robertson,Fiala,Svechnikov,Lafreniere(Res)
    RW: Nylander,Necas,Reinhart
    Rook: Knies,Carlsson(Res)
    D: Josi,Bouchard,Weegar,Forsling,Hanifin,Durzi(Res)
    G:Hellebuyck,Demko

yeah i would not pay money to pick up anybody but otherwise i really like Macelli..he has been playing very well, he shots more and is an excellent play maker. i think Mercer will bounce back soon too...Paul just riding hot hand right now and coudl do it all year long but i just dont trust him enough

I would not take any action.

Paul's value is entirely dependent on power play 1 deployment, which is subject to cancellation at any time. Paul himself isn't good enough to demand it.
For this season, Mercer has no value unless guys like Hughes and/or Hischier are not playing. The Devils have identified a top 6 and Mercer isn't in it.
Perfetti could be something, but it appears he is still growing. He is not ahead of Lafreniere at this point.
Macelli has some spurts, but again isn't appreciably superior to Lafreniere at this point to where I'd want to spend money to make the switch.
