Should i trade for Rantanen?
I could get Rantanen in my banger League for Zibanejad, Meier, Lafreniére. We have Keeper League..keep 10. So i would get Rantanen as one of my 10 Keeper. But for win now i think i would give up to much for a band aid boy!? Thanks for your opinions.

I would do that trade in a keep 10. Rantanen is by bar the best player in that deal.
I also don't consider Rantanen to be a band aid boy (75+ games last 2 seasons and only 2 seasons with less than 74 games).
It's a hit against this season, but only moderately; Laf is replaceable for this year so it's basically Meier (70) + Zibs (80) for Rantanen (105); and the 45 point difference is easily covered by the waiver wire

In your league Zibanjad is your only keep out of those three. So your significantly updating. I make this trade. Rantanten is top 10 and close to top 5.

Lafreniere is waiver value until he proves otherwise in a limited keeper without costs.
Rantanen upgrades on Zibanejad. Meier is the cost of the upgrade

Another vote for making the trade. You’re getting the best player in the deal, which is always what you want to do in a limited keeper league.

Yeah, this is an easy win. Don't know where you got the band-aid boy idea from, it's an overused term that often doesn't have a real statistical measurement associated with it.

So he woke up. Still not that bad of an offer in a keep 10, 10 team. That is 100 to 110th pick guys like Drake Batherson went in this range this year. If you can do 1st for his 2nd/3rd swap I would consider it. Or a my 1st and 4th for your 2nd and 3rd on top.Originally Posted by vivatherangers
