UPDATE in Post #6

League in signature. Defending champ but struggling out of the gate with a 4-4 record and 7th in the Atlantic Division.

My D is a mess. Not a fan of D anyway in this league or setup, but having only Carlson and York that play every night isn’t great with 6 D slots. Luckily, I have so many minors D streaming every night. But still, not good.

Klingberg was put on the block by another GM, so I offered my Lambos, Dufour and Jacob Peterson. He likes the offer, but just put Klingberg on the table and will wait until tonight.

Peterson was just sent down at the worst time after 83 games, so now he is another wasted pro spot like Benoit, Peeke and Hagg have been. With Pacioretty and Nic Roy out, I’m very short-handed.

Do I make this deal or just wait it out with what FHG is the team that should repeat?

I’m not a fan of this deal. I’d try to trade one of your aging but productive Fs for a younger better D or possibly 2.

I would look to make another deal. Klingberg won't help you enough to warrant giving up 3 guys.

I think you have to try and find something else, or give up less to get Klingberg.

You’d only make things worse by doing this. Pull the offer and be thankful the guy didn’t accept right away. I watch a lot of leaf games and he’s horrible.

So, we ended up talking more and agreeing that I was giving too much.

Due to the friendly negotiations, a deal was made:

My Lambos, Jacob Peterson and Kristian Reichel for Klingberg.

I think I’m ok with it due to my D issues and none of the 3 I gave having big impact this season. I lose in the future huge, but I’m going after the dynasty prize pool of $2000 for winning back-to-back or in 2 of 3.
