Big Deal - Want to improve my Goalie depth

Hello all,

I have a trade offer I'm un-decided on

I'd trade away: Kuzmenko, Zuccarello, Oettinger, and Binnington

I'd receive: Kreider, Wilson, Markstrom, and Jarry

Currently my goalies are Oettinger, Thompson, and Binnington

League is roto, and I am down big time in hits

Oettinger is elite, but I think I'll have more wins and not much worse ratios with Jarry/Markstrom, as I'm bullish on them

Blues are so bad I get scared plugging in Binnington every night

you want to improve your goalie depth by trading away the tender who is far and away better than the ones you're getting back? Hard pass. Binnington is no worse than Markstrom IMO and then you're dealing away what barring injury is a 70 point forward in Zucc. Kreider would be hard pressed for that tier of scoring and I root for that team haha.

I guess in my mind, both the Flames and Penguins will be much better this year, while Binnington will only be startable in the best matchups.

I also need the hits Kreider gives, as I'm dead last in the league in that category.

So far, that is not the case. Not sure I see it changing either.

The guy who gets the best player in the trade inevitably wins. Giving up Oettinger is not a good move for you. Figure out some package that does not involve him and you might be ok.

This is a hard no from me. You might even be able to stream hits daily and become middle of the pack. But trading Oettinger for this isn’t a good idea.
