Currently on my team are 5 dmen(Josi, Morrissey, Theodore, Matheson, Sanderson) — there are 3D starting spots + 1 utility in our league.

Luke Hughes is available to pickup & I moved Matheson(DTD) to IR last night.


…should I drop Couturier or a dman I own (Sanderson/Matheson maybe?) to add L.Hughes since he’s QBing NJD PP1 ? Dropping Couturier would allow to have a monopoly on dmen, even if it is overkill. 4 potential starting spots with 6 dmen (Matheson would be kept on IR in that case) or to drop a dman on the roster or do nothing at all

no you have more than enough D and dropping a dominant FOW center would be unwise.

don't play a D man in the utility spot.

If you moved Matheson to the IR, does that not open a slot to for you to add Hughes freely?

Or who did you pick up when you moved Matheson to IR?

Almost always the Utility spot is better utilized by a forward.
In a league like yours you want to carry 3D, 4 maximum, I would suggest having 5 is too many.
If you have moved Matheson to IR then you have a free spot but I would be looking to add a F to the mix.

Do not drop Couturier and do not do so for a D-man.

Is it worthwhile dropping another Dman to add Hughes then?

…& in our league, LHughes avg. fantasy points over the past week-2weeks is virtually the same to Couturier’s season avg. thus far. & Hughes should only get more looks & more consistent.
