18 team league, multicat with virtually the same settings as team in my sig.
Sandin has been dropped. There usually arent any interesting players on waivers that would make you need to put in a bid. Sandin might be that. But holding the 1st priority of 18 is a pretty big asset. I'd say there is a good chance there are at least 5 bids.
My instinct is to hold off as there could be a bigger fish dropped down the line and it's still early. At the same time, my team's weakest area is definitely defense.
Do you think Sandin still has a good season or was all of the hype misplaced based on his production without Carlson in the lineup last year?

how often quality players get dropped? im not huge Sandin fan but in most of my 16 team leagues that type of player is not available often...
how big are your rosters? i think if around 500 players are rostered (including minors) i think i would pick him up, if its much less probably not...again depending what you think could be available ...
i can tell you in my 16 team leagues you get someone like that on waivers once every few years at best...

In my league about 450 players are rostered. He is the best player dropped so far and could be for a while. But I might take the gamble that a better player comes along. I believe there probably will be at some point.

again you know your league better than us so yeah if you think there maybe better player i would wait ...but some people (including experts) pegged him for 50 points this year so who knows
