Every fast food restaurant... just do what McDonalds does and you should be as successful as McDonalds.
Because they're not as good and they don't do things as well. Glad I could help you understand.

It has nothing to do with people simply preferring a Big Mac to a Baconator.

We all know a large part of the United States much prefer Football to Hockey.

They don't care, so they don't try to understand, so they make dumb decisions when an issue rises up.
I agree with this. The NHL knows it needs to have Pride nights but they don't really want to have them so they do them poorly as they don't have the right people in charge of Pride support.

You can't, but they've done a good job at historically having strict "uniform rules" where if you don't wear certain sock lengths you get fined.

Where as in the NHL rulebook, it literally says you can use any colour tape on your stick.

Would you be thrilled to get paid $13,000,000 to play hockey?

So the NHL should impose stricter rules to try and be like the NFL?

I think this is a great idea... leave politics 100% out of the sport!!

Yes but that is not the point at all.

Sure! Getting rid of the Anthems would be the first step in that. I'm in.

Meanwhile, making new fans feel welcome is of course not political, so the NHL should continue to follow their own rulebook and allow players to use whatever color stick tape they prefer.

Does the national anthem in America change depending on which political party is in power?

Does "every person is welcome at hockey games" change based on what political party is in power? Boy what a pickle you must be in to answer such a question.

    No it doesn't.

Has anyone been told they can't come to an NHL game?

I know when I go to a Jets game they don't ask me anything about my identity and let me into the game.

Great so we have 2 things that don't change based on which political party is in power but we have 1 thing the US military funded sports leagues to keep doing after 9-11, so we have one action that is not political (putting tape on a hockey stick) and one thing that is political (paid endorsement of nationalism). Of note, before anyone tries a gotcha, the military no longer pays for forced nationalism because the got in trouble from DoD for doing so, however the national anthem inherently promotes nationalism, which inherently is political.
