With Werenski injured already, which one of these 3 defenseman
Would make a great replacement ?

Or would it be better to run 1 d short and add a streaming fwd like Rust, O'Reilly, Lafreniere type of guys...

On that list I would love to find a way to add Drysdale- he looks poised for a big year. Ghost is what he is at this point- which is a healthy step behind Drysdale for me- and Siegenthaller has always been more of a defensive stalwart. Yes I saw the three point night- i watched the game actually- but i think thats more the by product of a devils team that was absolutely buzzing. He could have a career year thisbyear and it'd still only be 40 points at the very highest end.

Don't run short on D for lafreniere- but is there a forward you could drop? He got skewered in the pre season for his lackadaisical pace but I watched the game last night and he was a man posessed. Only one point but 1000% that Pamarin goal does not happen without Lafreniere forcing a boss level turnover to set up the chance in the first play. Hes engaged, hes skating with pace- and hes got no chill in his game right now. The media did a great job skewering his perceived value in the pre-season but it looks like.it might have been just in time for his legit breakout. We'll see...

Werenski was reported to have a bad Charley Horse. Don't sound like it is long term. Drysdale would be the add though if you do add a D.

If I had to choose, I would go Ghost closely over Drysdale.
The Red Wings seem to be putting him in a situation to succeed and he's better surrounded imo.
