Definitely not. He should have more Saves and a better GAA.
I'm in a 14-team weekly H2H categories league. Goalie categories are Wins, Saves (not sv%) and GAA.
I have an early pick. After kept players, the best two goalies available are Sorokin and Georgie. It feels like they'll get a similar volume of starts. Have to figure Colorado gets more wins than the Islanders (right?), and also have a higher shots-against volume. Probably an edge to Sorokin on GAA, but that can be so volatile in weekly sets.
It feels like George is the better expected outcome... and yet I'm leaning toward Sorokin. Trust his floor, think there's a lower chance he busts, whereas Georgie has a more limited track record.
Am I crazy to take Sorokin?
H2H 14 team, 19-man roster, limited keeper (draft round matters). G / A / P / PPP / PIM / FW / BS // W / SV / GAA. My greatest wish: that Yahoo would offer DEF as a category.
Definitely not. He should have more Saves and a better GAA.
I still want Sorokin here.

Sorokin as well.
I trust Sorokin more but have them both in my top tier so I wouldn't sweat too much with either guy.
Sorokin for me.
Crazy NOT to take Sorokin in my opinion.

The difference is Sorokin is still seemingly improving, while Georgiev is situationally better than he really is. I want Sorokin here.

I thought the Islanders were more of a shot suppression team, but it's too close to not go with Sorokin.

Georgiev. There is nothing sure with goalies - just ask the Vasilevskiy owner. Better to keep team in mind than the goalie. Avs will allow more shots and get more wins. NOTE: Sorokin is the more talented ghoulie.

In a keeper league I like Sorokin. For the next 1-2 years I like Georgiev due to the team he’s in. You honestly can’t go wrong with either though!
Agree here- and id add that sv% is big for stroking. Hes an elite goalie on a middling team who averages about 30 wins with great peripherals- there's variance year to year but thats the expectation I think you're aiming for with Sorokin. Getting one cat- GAA at the lack of wins which is much more projectable doesn't sound like the way to go here.
Georgiev looks to be just above average but he's on a stacked team. So as long as he gets the nod as the starter youre aiming for 40ish wins in any given year and the crazy part is he probably has just as many- if not more saves in those starts too! Youre getting ten more wins- probably more saves and the only cat you're sacking is GAA which is a nightmare to project.
I like Sorokin a lot more irl- but id take Georgiev pretty easily here...
