I think he believes Bernier is more talented, but Harding is so much closer to becoming the starter. If Backstrom slips, Harding gets his shot, while Bernier won\'t be in the NHL for at least a year or two.
In the fantasy prospect report, Dobber was bragging Bernier\'s talent as possibly becoming the best goalie of the next decade. However in the keeper league goalie report, he ranked Harding before Bernier. I know that the team they play for was factored in. Any other reasons why?

Yeah that is definetly why! I think that Harding would be even bigger than Bernier if he was in LA. Harding is going to be good.

harding is ranked higher because the wild play so much better defense, whereas the kings (for lack of a better way to put it), have no goalie coach. The kings will be great in a couple of years, but bernier will be facing wayyy more shots (and tougher shots) than harding, because of the team he\'s on. This to me is why harding is ranked higher.
Minnesota is one of those places that can make a fairly average goalie look great, and a great goalie (harding) look absolutely phenominal.

That\'s a very good point. If I get your point Lanky, even if Bernier has more pure talent, Harding\'s environment (Minnesota) gives him a much higher FANTASY VALUE.
However, in my keeper league, we highly reward shutouts. It is 2 points for a goalie win, 5 points if he wins by shutout and 1 point if he loses in OT. Would that still put Bernier far enough behind Harding in terms of fantasy value or just comparable?
