Default Keeper choice - Demko vs Skinner - H2H League

Like the title say. H2H with Wins, Save % & Shutouts for goalie categories.

Demko has the better pedigree, safer starter role, but has been injured and the Canucks seem mired in mediocrity despite their solid core.

Skinner's starter jobs looks a bit more tenuous, but the Oilers look like a safer bet for wins.

I'm leaning Skinner here. Any advice ?

I prefer Skinner. When betting on goalies, I bet on team quality.

With two of your three categories volume based, I'm taking Demko here, but it's not a slam dunk, meaning I could get behind you wanting to opt for Skinner. But if it was me I'd go Demko.

Wins is a volume category, but we know it's more of a team based stat, so less starts might lead to more wins by Skinner. Shutout isn't random, but it's not very reliable so I'm not basing my decision on it much except for very shutout prone goalies which neither of them seem to be.

I'm also going Skinner here since he could start less and still out-Win Demko.

Shutouts are more random. Two years ago, Markstrom had NINE. Last year... not so much.
Demko might get Sv% but I wouldn't be confident enough in that to warrant the Wins category.

Surprised by the responses. Demko. He’s the starter, clear cut. Skinner’s competing against a big contract… and a guy streaky enough to steal a bunch of starts.
    H2H 14 team, 19-man roster, limited keeper (draft round matters). G / A / P / PPP / PIM / FW / BS // W / SV / GAA. My greatest wish: that Yahoo would offer DEF as a category.
