    Default late draft decision

Ok, so i'm late in the draft and I find myself in a position where I need to draft a goalie and a forward. I have 7M available and below are my best 3 scenarios (Cap Hit, point only):

    1) Luukonen or Copley (1M) + Dylan Strome (5m)

    2) Korpisalo (4M) + Duclair ou Dillon Dube (2-3M)

    3) Demko (5M) + Krebs (1M)

Which scenario is the best ?

I’d be taking Demko and Krebs here with the hopes that Demko regains his former self and Krebs breaks out. I like option 2 the least. Option 1 both goaltenders are best scenario sharing the crease but you get Strome? Without more information on roster and cats I’d go with 3.

I'd fire on Demko + a cheap forward. Maybe Krebs or maybe someone else. Positional scarcity makes Demko the bet here provided you can actually use his volume of starts and he won't be buried most nights.

Demko for me too. Not sure if Krebs is your only (best) option, but Demko is a big step up on the other two Gs and I'd rather gamble on skaters than tenders.

    It's option 1 or 3, and I prefer option 3.

Most faith in Demko, and cheap forwards will exist that do well. If the guy you pick isn't one of them, there will be somebody else.

Demko easily and then another forward other than Krebs. I was hearing on Buffalo radio that they want Krebs to be that 3rd line pest that does all the corner digging. Sort of like a SH specialist type. Not very great for fantasy so if you can snag somebody else then I'd do it. But Demko for sure.

    Option one is a pass.

This comes down to #2 or #3. I am curious about the rest of your team though. Is the goalie drafted going to be your main goalie, or is this a 2G type situation?

Another vote for Demko and Krebs. Krebs is going to pop soon (but it may not be until next season) and Demko is by far the best goalie option of the ones you have listed.
