Jagr back in at Kladno

Not a huge NHL story, but just Jagr being Jagr. Probably the guy I've never had on a team that I most wish that I had.

Out of curiosity, why?

Since he is the team owner, and playing well enough to be relevant, and is probably a major publicity draw, this is the most "the decision is his" thing I can think of. I have less control over what I eat for lunch on a given day.

I think some were speculating a come back to the NHL...

Thats the only reason why I could see this new sucking.

i think he could still produce at NHL level but im not sure he could defend well enough to stay on the ice to do so....either way just AMAZING what he is doing...always was one of my favorites!

I started watching hockey at the end of 1992 once i got over initial shock of no soccer in Canada back then. I immigrated from eastern Europe and it was all soccer for me for many years of my life until i realized i could not follow it here at that time...

Jagr quickly became one of my favorites and by far favorite not playing for the leafs...fact that he played when i was a teenager and he still plays when im an old man its quite amazing! good on him!

Jagr WANTS to be done / retired. He keeps playing out of responsibility to the club to keep partners and sponsors, who keep the club afloat, that would leave if he quit.
His dad owned the club before him. As long as his dad is alive Jagr will not want to let him down - and thus keep playing. There's no choice.

It's sad.
