Hi,
Any news or confirmation/chance that this D stud wants to come to the NHL once his contracts expires in the KHL?
He doesn't seem too excited to go with the Hurricanes, no mentions on the web of him talking to go to the NHL one day?
Would you still pick this kid in your keepers farm team ?

Don’t have update to most of your questions, however every good KHLer wants to play in NHL so I suspect. Nothing different here. Will politics get involved? That we don’t know but for now I expect him to come over after conclusion of next KHLseason. And personally I own him on 4 of 6 leagues.

as for hockey, he is developing into absolute multicat stud. He picked up where he left over last year and even shoots more which helps. Current compressed stats are

If you have room on your farm, yes you pick him up. That said, there is certainly some risk involved and there is a chance that an NHL debut is delayed or may not even happen, but that's a risk I'm willing to take given the reward, this guy looks to be the real deal. Whether this applies to you or not is unknown because we have no idea about your team or your league settings ..... I highly recommend that you create yourself a signature with that information included.

I presume just about every player wants to come to the NHL to play against the best and have the opportunity to make the highest type of salary. Would be confident he at least tries to come over. He's worthy of grabbing in a lot of keeper setups, he is one of the best D prospects. But it would be worth seeing what your setup is.

Just a side note to KHL players….Michkov was loaned to Sochi.first game he had 2 assists. Second game he didn’t record point in 15 min but registered 10 shots in 15 min lol… second on the team was tied at 3

Its 24-25...i think 25-26 is for Michkov.

so technically Nikishin could joint Carolina for playoffs in spring of 25 if nothing else changes but that is long time so who knows...

no matter what it is, he is almost at the point where he is a definitely worth a wait...
