Keeper decision - will rep!

10 team league, keep 15 plus 2 farms (less than 100 GP). Points only, goalies get 2 pts per win, 1 pt per shutout. Dress 14 forwards, 4 D, 2 G, with 10 bench spots.

I finished 20 pts out of first, I'm in all in mode right now. I need to choose 15 of the following players:

Alex Tuch, Carter Verhaeghe, Drake Batherson, Mats Zuccarello, Tomas Hertl

Vince Dunn, Brent Burns, Shayne Gostisbhere, Kris Letang, Filip Hronek

Vitek Vanecek, Sergei Bobrovsky

I'm 100% going to be dropping some really good players. Been going back and forth a lot between a more balanced team with 10F, 3D, 2G, or leaning into my forward depth with 12F, 2D, 1G.

I won't keep 3 goalies because we can only dress 2 at time. Keeping a bench player really handicaps me for next season. Vanecek or Bob and 1 more forward.

Well u said that goal is winning this year and 3 goalies really help that , specially when starters don’t play much more than 55 games.

But I would keep Dunn as 3 rd skater….Batherson would be my 4 th

I think Seattle will not score as much and Dunn will regress to being a good but redraftable player.
I'd get an extra D and like Burns the most out of those. But there's lots of room for debate amongst your remaining D
Florida's injuries worry me that they'll be off to a slow start and their key players won't have had a full training camp or be 100% during their season. So I'd keep Vanecek as the other goalie rather than Bob.

Sucks to lose Burns but he’s 38… I’ll roll the dice on a regression and not sold on Dunn. I think you’ll be able to draft a 50pt D which is what I think Burns and Dunn can do this year with more ease than a 70pt forward.

I never keep goalies in a limited keeper. I can see Demko but beyond that absolutely not keeping any of those goalies. Think of the value you’re flushing down the toilet. Think of your keepers as rounds 1-15 of the draft.

What does dress 4D, 2D mean? I’m assuming 6 D?

I am also worried about Dunn regressing, but Carolina bringing in DeAngelo and Burns being 38 this year makes me think Dunn's floor as pp1 qb and Burns ceiling might be similar at 50-55 pts.

I need Tuch and Batherson. Dunn's gonna regress, and there isn't as much demand for defense as in other leagues but I still want him in there too.

For the fourth, I'm taking the high floor on Verhaeghe or Burns. Probably Verhaeghe given the number of forwards you need.

I'd consider Vanecek as well, but I just don't trust the goalie split situation. That's also the logic that caused guys like Ullmark and Georgiev to become steals last year, but so be it.

Honestly, I hope he gets suspended so it makes my decision easier. It's a weird point of view but I can't shake it.
