I'm in a keeper (keep 10 of 20) but next year it will be 'only keep 5'. I have to make a decision.

I have Markstrom, Wolf, Vladar, Askarov and Martin Jones.

Should I keep Markstrom and protect a skater ... or protect both Markstrom and Wolf. My conundrum is that next year I only keep 5 as mentioned.

It highly depends on two things:

1. What your actual roster looks like, as the sig is out of date, and it looks like the correct league from settings.

2. What goalie ends up leaving Calgary. One of them has to go soon. Markstrom has a NMC, and Vladar is reasonably priced.

Next year you have a keep 5, and none of these guys is likely to be good enough in a keep 5, unless Wolf shows up this years and just takes the job completely and plays great. So I'd look at it as a one year keeper situation.

when it comes to tenders follow the contract. Keep Markstrom and a forward.

I keep Markstrom and a forward and look to re-draft Wolf.

I'm assuming your (OP) sig isn't updated... since it lists Koskinen.
But... even two years ago - that team looks BAD, really BAD in a 15-team league.

Personally, I'm stripping this down to youth - planning to keep Wolf and Askarov and 3 skaters next summer.
Eff Markstrom. CGY ain't bouncing back. Wolf is the real deal. Hold him. Tank this season.
Enjoy the draft picks coming from finishing in the basement.
(This sucks... I know... but I think it's the right move. Seriously.)

I think I really need to see your most current roster before providing further comment. P7 may be right here if the current roster looks about the same as the one in your sig.
