I don't really have the range for a top-10, but I like a wide range of beers and wines, though I tend towards the flavourful lagers for beers and the full-body reds for wines. Also mix in the occasional whiskey or rakia.

Favourite beer is the Overdraft from Katalyst Brewing (currently out of stock)
Favourite wine is the Baco Noir from Henry of Pelham ("Old vines" if you can fine it)

I bailed on alcohol a few years ago.
Every beer gives me a headache now... harder liquors too.

Axes craft beer list is pretty good but I’m surprised to not see anything from North Brewing on there.

    1. Pleasant Disposition IPA - North Brewing
    2. Malternate Reality - North Brewing
    3. v7 - Propellor (only available at Seven Bays Bouldering)
    4. Half Nelson - Tanner & Co
    5. Cristal (Cuba)
    6. Sol (Mexico)
    7. Lawrencetown Surf Session Ale - North Brewing
    8. Galaxy IPA - Propellor
    9. Dos Cuervos - Two Crows Brewing
    10. Prime Lager - Propellor (my go to crushable for sitting around a camp fire)

    For spirits:
    1. Barreling Tide Rhubarb Gin
    2. Still Fired Fundy Gin
    3. Hendricks Gin
    4. Teremana Tequila
    5. Barreling Tide Tidal Gin

I’d do the rest of the list but it would likely just be more various types of gin.

Go to summer refreshment is either G&T, margarita or beer.

Christmas drink is a classic rum and eggnog although there’s a local distillery named Still Fired that makes a Winter Wonderland creme liquer that’s really good straight on ice or in coffee
    Without me, it's only "aweso".

I have mostly foresaken beer, 10 years ago it started to NOT sit well in my gut, specially with meals. Not much of a wine guy either but I drink enough by proxy because of my wife. Mixed drinks/coacktails I enjoy on occassion but I also try to stay away from pop as a mix.

But I am a whisky snob now and generating a top 10 list is moving target as the whisky world in Alberta is very well served and gotten to be pretty hard core. We drink a lot of limited releases that disappear quickly and rarely come back to market again.

But I'll list 10 whiskys that I love that are regular releases, if not widely available:

    - Springback 12 yr
    - Alberta Premium Cask Strength Rye
    - Ardbeg 10 yr
    - Buffalo Trace Bourban
    - Laphroaig Quarter Cask
    - Lagavulin 10 yr
    - Two Brewers Classic
    - Any Forty Creek (good, cheap, Canadian)
    - Any Boulder Spirits whiskey
    - Any Kavalan (if can afford it!)

Last year of summer what's your go to summer refreshment?
    - Royal Jamaican Ginger Beer

    What's your favourite Christmas drink?
    - Cask strength whisky to quickly warm me up!

I won't say I'm not a fan but they don't rank as high as these ones. I still have some Malternat Reality in my fridge actually. It's good but not one of my favorite IPAs.

My list has a mixture of East Coast brewers and some from Victoria when I was out there.

Don't think I could put together a top ten.

I drink beer and wine, pretty standard stuff. I mix in a Guinness every now and then. I drink some local near my cottage - Trestle 30000 Islands IPA. Haven't drank hard stuff since university - it turns me into a buffoon lol

I fluctuate with my current favorite beer but this is where I'm at currently.

    1) Goose Island IPA (been my favorite for about the last 6 months)
    2) 7/7 (all timer right here!)
    3) Heineken Light (tough to beat when it's ice cold)
    4) Guinness (You gotta drink Guinness when visiting southside Chicago Irish pubs)
    5) Blue Moon (great in the summer)
    6) Two Hearted IPA (could rise higher in the future)
    7) Crown Royal Manhattan (my go-to drink at weddings and dinners)
    8) Killian's Red (just wish I could drink more than 1 without getting a headache)
    9) Jameson (so smooth)
    10) Bud Light (cheap, watery domestic beers have their place)

I'm going to try some of these beers already listed. Thanks for the info.

I remember a few years ago while in Glasgow Scotland, we went to this beer joint called Bier Halle. It was there I had my first Innis and Gunn and loved it. It was their IPA called Mangoes On The Run. Yum!

If you are a beer lover and ever get to Glasgow, I recommend this place. They have beers from all over the world. Check out their "menu" online to see what they have there today. Such an amazing selection. I went back the next night too because I couldn't drink all the ones I wanted to try in one night lol.

Damn impressive menu. Forgot to mention Leffe Blond (used to drink that a ton). Need to have one soon. Love Pravha and another one I forgot to mention is Sapporo. Love Blue Moon in the summer. In my 30’s I would go to the LCBO and try different beers. There were some bad ones but most were pretty good. Now I focus on a few good ones like Innis and Gunn and Steam Whistle with some cold shots on the side.
