16 Team Keeper League

I'm in a 16 team keeper league where you can keep 0 players, and up to 4 players.
0.5PPR, QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, Kicker, Def, Flex, 6BN, 3IR

My potential keepers are:
AJ Brown (WR)
Josh Allen (QB)
Saquon Barkley (RB)
Drake London (WR)
Kyle Pitts (TE)
Calvin Ridley (WR)
Dameon Pierce (RB)

I don't have picks in round 5, 8, and 10. In the 16 team set up, Josh Allen is a keeper sadly. So who would you keep? The big question is coming down to the potential 4th keeper. Pitts, London, Pierce, or Ridley?

Just want to make sure I have all the information before I give my answer...

Do most teams keep 4 players every year?
Or do some take the 0, 1, or 2 options?

And do the 4 keepers mean you lose the first 4 rounds of the draft.
If you keep only 1 players, you lose the first round pick?

If most teams keep 4 players,
I would not keep any of the 4 you are questioning.
And hope that majority of the teams keep 3-4 players.
Then you would have a shot at drafting Bijan/Gibbs

But maybe the other GMs are more strategic than this.
And if they don't keep 4 players - then this strategy doesn't work.


If the above strategy doesn't work... I am taking one more shot on Pitts.
How much would it suck to not keep him... and he finally breaks into the elite TE stratosphere.

I would keep:

Allen, Brown, Barkley and either Ridley or Pitts/London. If you want a potential top 5 TE in Pitts then he could be there in round 4. London and Pitts will be fighting it out for grabs so it's why I have Ridley ahead of both. I just think that Ridley is going to have a great year with his QB due for a nice stat bump.

For me, it's either Ridley or Pierce. I'd probably go with Ridley depending on how your league values RBs.

- If you keep 1, you lose 1st round pick, if you keep 2 you lose 1st and 2nd round pick and so on.

- The league is weird in the terms of the draft. I would say 4-6 teams keep 4, 3-6 teams keep 3, 2-3 teams keep 2, 1-2 teams keep 1. I don't remember a team keeping 0 every actually.

- But what makes it weird is that the draft is still a snake draft, and the order is randomized post keepers locked in. So you can technically win the league and get the 1st overall pick.
