2023 DobberHockey Fantasy Football League Tier II

[Invictus]

Here's my draft.
I drafted at a friends place and the draft list I made only the first 51 players seemed to have copied over so that was a downer, but I think I recovered well and still made some great picks.

4	Austin Ekeler (LAC - RB)	Who I expected I would be picking here. Was hoping for Chase to drop to me.
17	Davante Adams (LV - WR)	Choice between Amon-Ra or Davante Adams. I went with Adams. Not sure what a trade would mean, but he saw little drop when sent to LV so not worried.
24	Patrick Mahomes (KC - QB)	Choice between Waddle or Mahomes. Decided to secure my QB with Josh Allen already gone. May not be the best strat to take a QB this early in a 10 team league, but I assurance of high end QB pts.
37	Rhamondre Stevenson (NE - RB)	My top ranked player heading into this round and it managed to stay with 6 picks ahead of me. Had him last year and loving that he was still available!
44	Deebo Samuel (SF - WR)	Deebo can explode, but I had Keenan Allen as the better/steadier pick. I guess I accidently had marked Allen as picked during the draft as Deebo was my BPA. Awesomely, a trade has already been made to swap these two!
	I got a 2RB, 2WR, 1QB to start - now it's time to round out my team and grab guys who could have big upside. No longer using my prepared draft list from this point forward.
57	Christian Watson (GB - WR)	Injuries slowed his start last year, but once healthy he emerged as the Packers' clear number-one wideout with really good rate stats. He should prove to be a valuable as my flex.
64	Drake London (Atl - WR)	In Weeks 13-18, he was the WR20 in fantasy, all the while failling to score a single touchdown. I would have liked to have gone with DJ Moore here who was still available. Trade swap was declined.
77	Christian Kirk (Jax - WR)	A lot to like about Christian Kirk, but will lose target shares upon the arrival of Calvin Ridley. Chris Godwin was the one player I had ranked ahead. PenguinHunter got Godwin, and I know he likes Christian Kirk. Pull that trigger PH!
84	David Njoku (Cle - TE)	This was a misplay. Everyone had their TE I could have waited and selected Chris Godwin instead. Had I taken Godwin with my last pick though, David Montgomery was next up (and picked next pick). Would have helped strengthen my RB. As for Njoku, I'm thinking Cleveland will be more willing to throw the ball more and Njoku takes his game up a notch.
97	Brian Robinson (Was - RB)	My last 5 picks were WR before drafting a TE with my last pick - not good I need RB. This the best RB available and hope he builds on his rookie year.
104	AJ Dillon (GB - RB)	Needed another RB and Dillon is a Aaron Jones injury away from being a top RB option.
117	Brandin Cooks (Dal - WR)	RB or WR here didn't matter to me. Cooks was my top ranked going into this round. Not much upside potential, but with my other picks I needed a more steady option.
124	Evan McPherson (Cin - K)	He kicks the ball. It's exciting.
137	Washington (Was - DEF)	Scrambling here, I knew Washington had what might be an easier first game - went with them. Baltimore was available - that would have been my pick.
144	Nico Collins (Hou - WR)	This pick likely won't stay for very long as it's a streaming spot.

That performance by the Dallas D really gave me a boost! Barely matters they stifled Barkley along the way.

I've got a chance at the high score of the week with Diggs and Bass still to go tonight. As long as Allen doesn't have a monster rushing game, I should be fine for the W.

Sitting 2-1, with the most Points For despite my terrible management of it not subbing in the correct player or picking up a new kicker to play just for my original kick to score 19 points on my bench. Also been without Ekeler for the last 2 weeks.
