Hertl vs Holtz, Thrun, Granlund, Dorofeyev

28 team NHL salary cap + AAV league with rosters of 4 forward lines and 6 dmen. Counting stats are G, A, +/-, Hits, takeaways, blocked shots, face off win % for centers, PK toi, toi/game.

Which side do you prefer Hertl or Granlund, Holtz, Thrun, Dorofeyev? The side moving Hertl needs to rebuild after going for the cup multiple years in a row. The team who would be moving the youngsters is the defending cup champ. Rebuilding team is pretty much without any future assets at this time.

Seems like it's good for both, honestly.

Decided to keep Hertl at this point in time as there's no need to move him anytime soon. He should be a building block for a rebuilding team.

For me, it's Hertl vs. Holtz-Potential + Thrun-Potential.
I would agree that Hertl seems like safer & better player.

That said - if door is open for Thrun discussions... I'd see if you could land him... somehow... given SJ's D weakness.
