CLUE#1 - I'm a European former forward who never played in the AHL prior to entering the NHL
CLUE#2 - In my NHL career I played for three different teams, two of which did not exist prior to 1990
CLUE#3 - Although I was forced to retire due to injury, I was quite durable in my NHL career, missing no more than eight games in each of the first eight of my ten NHL seasons
CLUE#4 - To give you an idea of how good I was during my peak, as well as the era during which I played, the best four seasons of my career saw me post a cumulative point total that was higher than, among others, Patrick Elias, Marian Gaborik, Daniel Briere, Alexei Kovalev, Jeff Carter, and Saku Koivu
CLUE#5 - The season before I made my NHL debut, I was the leading scorer of a European league

Nailed it - I am Kristian Huselius! I didn't remember what a solid career he had, probably because the teams he was on didn't do so well during his era, with none making past the first round of the playoffs, if even making it to the playoffs at all.

2. I was completely mid-cast as a teams #1 D for several seasons. I even received some All Star and Norris votes in what was actually the season after my best season statistically.

3. I was mis-cast because my team, which did not draft prior to 1991, drafted so incredibly badly that of their first 37 draft picks, maybe 4 or 5 were actually NHL level players. 2 of them ended up being quite good. And that does not include me.
