Bad Luck

- 6/14 weeks I went against a top 4 scoring team.
- lost my 1st and 3rd round picks to long term injuries, and my 2nd round pick to a short one
- QB runs in each round of the draft just before my pick
- Arthur Smith being a moron
- The Chiefs offense being good enough to usually get a touchdown when in scoring range, but bad enough to infrequently get in scoring range.

Kofax continues riding his winning streak... after starting 1-6... he rattles off 7 straight wins to close regular season, then quarters, then semis...
Now the McCaffrey/Rachaad combo is into the finals versus EskimoBrother!

Ya, it's been one hell of a ride this season. I thought I'd be battling for relegation and here I am in the finals. Just crazy luck swings.

Thanks for the luck boys! Happy to be facing EB, one of the all round good guys in fantasy sports. Won't feel too bad if I end up losing to him, but would obviously prefer to kick his butt this week!

On a side note, nice that it's going to be a weekend affair and I'm not going to be worrying about it from Thursday to Monday like this past week (even though I had a pretty large lead throughout). Although I'm going to be away at a cottage and not necessarily be able to watch anything.

Season 13 Champions

A heckuva season, finishing 3rd in regular season,
and doing it while taking a risk on future asset (Justin Jefferson) at the risk of two solid producing players (D.Henry & Pittman Jr).
(League's ONLY trade)

Way to go!!!

The Championship Roster also scored a league high in Week 17 points, with 123.14

Amazing final roster - which included Pacheco (26.00pts) on his bench!

Thanks! Always appreciate you putting it together P7, you had a really unlucky go in the Quarters, or things could have ended very differently.

A great season by Kofax to hold the rudder steady and take that team all the way to the finals! Congrats on a good season to you and the rest of the league

Looking forward to defending my title next year with a complete belly flop of a team because I have definitely used up all of my luck.

Fun to look back at the season though with the draft where 1st Round pick Diggs was great up until the last few weeks, 2nd round pick along with Pittman got traded for Jefferson (who I won in spite of instead of because of his terrible QB options once he returned from injury). Rookies Achane and Rice plus sophomore Pacheco made a huge difference in the end, whereas my post-draft RB2 and WR2 in Akers and Lockett were absent and inconsistent respectively. A waiver claim on Ferguson and a few good streams on Kickers and the PIT DEF, filled in the rest down the roster on a season where I never felt like I had to worry about my team much, which is a strange feeling in FFootball.

The MVP (and maybe the real life MVP) in Lamar Jackson was huge though. Just luck of the draw that he was the dominant on and it wasn't a peak season from Mahomes or Allen instead. Could have been very different.

Already looking forward to next year.
