    ^Nice.
I fell in love with most of the Studio Ghibli films about 5-10 years ago.
I probably watch 3-4 every year still.
I'd say they are on par with most Disney stuff - just not "Western"-style animation.
Bigger on the feelings they generate - for me.

That one is probably the most underrated.

I feel like my top 10 change from time to time, but here's my best shot at it. These are not in order, but just 10 that I love. they are not all "great" movies but movies that are important to me or that I just love to watch for nostalgia or other reasons.

    1) Shawshank Redemption
    2) LoTR Trilogy (I am not going to break these down into their parts - I typically watch them all in one go over a weekend once every year or two)
    3) Saving Private Ryan
    4) Willow
    5) Coda
    6) Dune
    7) Gladiator
    8) Contact
    9) Star Trek II Wrath of Khan
    10) Children of Men

There's definitely a ton of great movies on list here that would've been on/off my top 10 over the years.
I really don't think I could make a top10 with my taste changing so much over past 5-10 years.

But my favourite movie has been my favourite movie for 25+ years now.
I just like the main three characters.
I like the different bonds between the relationships of the characters.
Maybe my brain knew - back then - that moods/relationships of characters were more interesting to me than the events that people live.

Some people do what they love and just never make it as high up as others. (Davis)
Some people do something they are good at and need help realizing their potential. (Laloosh)
Some people just love to be some key part of a certain group of the world, even with their quirks. (Savoy)

I think it'll always be my favourite.
Been around for 35 years now.

Not on anybody's list that I've seen yet.
    #1 on mine.
