Dobber Top 10!!! Week 1 - Movies

Summer is slow around here - so let's see if a top 10 weekly debate can spark some fun conversations.

Inspired by the following video segment starting at 6:20 and going to 14:30.

What is your top 10 Movie List?

I don't even know if I could put together a relevant movie list anymore.
I was so few movies these days.

1. Fight Club
2. Silence of the Lambs
3. Full Metal Jacket
4. The Goonies
5. The Godfather
6. Scarface
8. Die Hard
9. Bourne Identity
10. No Country for Old Men (perhaps more of a shoutout to the recent passing of McCarthy than in my top 10).

I'm sure there's a few others that deserve my top 10 more... but this is a pretty solid list with little time invested

Wow - cool idea PH!!!

I'd definitely want to join in discussion about 5+ years ago.
I'm not much of a "guy"/"dude" any more for movie taste.
I like shit that hits hard emotionally - especially negatively/speculatively.
I just finished a summer of watching things like Aftersun, Petite Maman, the Quiet Girl, Nomadland.

I'm too far removed from action-packed plotlines.
I'd need a time machine to join! LOL.
But I was there once upon a time!!!

I stopped watching new movies ages ago except the occasional one that someone else happens to be watching. I'll try to list them in some sort of order but they're mostly interchangeable.

1. The Departed
2. Interview With a Vampire
3. Alien
4. Fellowship of the Ring (not the whole trilogy, just this movie)
5. Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels
6. Glengarry Glen Ross (maybe just for one scene)
7. Suicide Kings
8. Tombstone
9. Bourne Identity
10. Saving Private Ryan

I never really thought I have a "top 10" per se, more just movies that I can watch anytime, anywhere no matter how many times I have seen them. In no order the first 10 that come to mind:

Bonus: Memento, Ocean's 11, Blade Runner (Original one but the new one is pretty good too)

^ I really liked Paranormal Activity and was surprised when I looked it up and saw pretty poor viewer ratings of it on Rotten Tomatoes. I thought the suspense was fantastic.
