To note, he can play in the AHL next yr and make $82,500/yr with a $95,000 signing bonus every July 1st. But he's going to be in the NHL unless he completely isn't ready.

Also he has a Performance Bonus deal that has the ability to put up $3,500,000 extra per year.

Here are the performance bonuses:
"A" Level Bonuses. $212,500ea to a max of $850,000 (max 4 achieved). For players drafted in 2022, it's $250,000ea to a max of $1,000,000:
Forwards:
- 20G
- 35A
- 60pts
- 0.73ppg (min 42gp)
- Top 6 in Time on Ice among forwards (In total and/or per game) on team (min 41games)
- Top 3 in +/- among forwards on team (min 42gp)
- End-of season All Rookie Team
- All Star Selection
- All Star MVP

"B" Level Bonuses. Worth up to $2,000,000 ($2,500,000 for players drafted 2022 of later), and the full amount of the bonus is awarded if any of the following is achieved:
- Forwards: Top 10 in NHL forward goals, Assists, points of PPG (Min 42games)
- Win any of the following trophies: Hart, Selke, Richard, Conn Smythe, Norris
- 1st or 2nd team All-star
