Great contract for Aho and the Canes.
I (personally) love that they settled on a number under $10m.
For me... that's "team". As soon as you have guys above $10m... that separates this sort of feeling of "team".
I mean, the superstars absolutely 100% deserve their money.
But there's a vibe when you've got a $10m+ singular player sitting in a lockerroom.
Really love this for Aho/CAR and wish them success going forward.

Meh. Word is Nylander wants $10.5 per. The comparables (Connor, DeBrincat, Guentzel, Fiala) all say he should be at about $8 to $8.5. Aho, who is a #1 center and a year younger, at $9.75 further emphasizes the comp range for Nylander. If Nylander wants his next deal to start with a $10 the Leafs would be wise to have it be somehwere else.Originally Posted by Belexus75
